Hi Am June 8th 2016 applicant. I added my spouse June 12th 2017. We both got the MR on Oct 1st. Now waiting for to see "medical passed" on our CIC account. Hopefully we all will get the DM and PPR soon.

Yes you can. Thats the way it comes.
They dont add dependents name ont he ppr.

So if the spouse is back home but he is dependent than where do we send his passport and what do we need to send with the passport

If you call CIC, please ask if Security is started or not, as Background will be in progress from the day they will start your criminality, even it will not show on CIC account.
I talked to CIC agent and he said ur Background is in progress but security is not started. Although security is part of background check.
So, there is a difference.

Last week I called cic, they said I ordered the GCMS will slow down my application process. Not sure if that is true

No, It doesn't do anything to your procedure.. I verified it too with CIC Agent plus i have few friends from 3rd week of April, already got PPR and i am April 7 and still waiting..

COPR is Confirmation of Permanent Residency which you'll get once you are approved for PR. What is the reason that your work permit was refused?

They were asking for lmiae number and fee and at the bottom it was written no additional fee required ( as I had paid application fee).. and since I am pnp nominee and had support letter from province I didn't knw why they were asking for lmie.. we got mixed it up with LMIA... and we got refusal
