what do u mean by regular paper based applicant
some PNP under different program can apply EE after nominated, their cases will be way more faster than regular paper based applicants in federal level

I mean to say some PNP can directly apply EE with extra points earned right after nominated, so their case will be faster. It's not the same with ours, which can not have extra points after nominated.

they just want me to update my supplementary travels..where in I put my son coz he was just born then as well..and that's it..after that i did not hear from them again..

to update you meant - to put new information about travelling currently - recent year while you are waiting for PR?

For me, I applied March 2016 and I supplied my police certificates from Canada and my home country upfront.I got PPR Sept 19, 2017 and no updated police clearances were required.

congrats! does PPR means actual PR already received?
it means that now the timeline is actually 17 months...

PPR means Passport Request. At this point (for persons from non-exempted visa countries), your passport is requested so that the Permanent Resident Visa can be printed in your passport and the issuing of the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).At this point you can to the border (flag pole) and activate your Permanent Residence. At this point, you are officially a PR
