I don't think so If u stay less than 24 hours... I think they will only ask if they find any gap in the information or u been outside of canada for more than 6 months...and come back to country

Received PPR on Sep 1st, sent passport the same day, appliaction approved on Sep 21st, waiting for passport return.

You should Contact CIC, there might be a reason for the delay,
My friend was being very optimistic and waited more than a month thinking that CIC take its time. After waiting for that long he called CIC and was informed to send new photos, as the photos he sent were not acceptable. If he wouldn't call CIC might have never informed him.
