How long does it take after we send them our passport to cic
Its been 3 weeks i sent them my passport

I am on outland 28 april 2016 applicant. I apllied for pnp when i was in canda
And apllied for pr when i was in india
And came back to canada last year
I got my ppr on aug 23 and sent them right away

It is ridiculous that outland applicants are faster than inland applicants.

You will receive the important emails like medical, passport request or if CIC needs any further documents. but CIC does not send email if some status changes to your file like Background changes to In process from NA..

Same thing is in my status ever since my medical passed in about 2nd week of may... still We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements... so frustrating on 16th September 17th month starting...i got medical on 2nd May same as the guy posted above whose bg in process... nothing for me yet hopefully soon next week... i have the same question as u...
