how could they give you the one-week timeline? I called them too.....every time I call, I just get super disappointed. Last time I contacted them ( last week maybe), this guy said all they can see is the status in their system, not the actual file, for example: not started, pending, delayed, etc.

Some of them are actually pretty rude...... pisses us off right away :-x

Thanks for updating us my timeline is close to you.
May 24 applicant with dependent since beginning.
Cool... I am hoping for PPR in October Mid. but will call them again in Mid sept now.

Let see :)

Thanks,
Sid

Alberta Nominee. Mailed Application to Sydney, NB
Application Received: around April 20, 2016
Application was done from Canada
Medical received and passed in June 2017
BG Status: In process

Based on their timelines, it should take no more than 16 months, but it will be 17 on Sept 20.
Aug 21, I've sent them web enquiry if there is any information I can help them with mentioning that my application took more than 16 months already.
Aug 28, Got email from CIC saying if nobody contacted me, I should send web enquiry. I've sent it again with note "nobody hasn't contacted me yet"

My work permit is expiring in December and I am wondering if I would have to pay for the bridge permit :-(

I called CIC yesterday ... they said my background is in process and will be completed in a week or so... And should hear by mid of Sept for any correspondence.

May 17th Application Received
AOR somewhere in Aug 2016
Additional document request in November + RPRF together
Medical in June 2017
Medical passed after 4 days of medical done
BG shown N/A on cic

Applied under BCPNP to PR paper based with my spouse file together from starting .

Thanks ,
Sid
May 16 file received... mine is still same we r doing eligibility requirements check... no sign of background in process... it's been about 3 months stuck on eligibility requirements check... don't know what is going on...

AINP CANNOT switch to EE
yes you can. You just don't get points for AINP. You can still apply for Express Entry separately. I know 2 friends of mine applied for EE while having their PNP application being processed. they both got PR already.

If you have linked your PNP profile to your online profile, you might not be able to apply for EE at the same time, the online profile will give you a message there's an application in process. In that case, you might want to withdraw your PNP application and apply for EE.

EE is a lot faster....but it depends how far your PNP application has been received and processed, sometimes it might be better just to wait for PNP.

Hi,

thanks for your valuable feedback!
I'm fresh applicant (BC PNP, paper bases application received by CIC 11 of August 2017) and wondering whether it is worth to linked my PNP profile to online profile.
if I don't do it - how will I receive news from them?? I am especially worried about AOR as I need it for bridge work permit

thank you

Hey guys,

I am totally confused with timelines. what were they doing all the year long if you start to receive MR only now?? 2-3 months for AOR and after??
Your file is just sitting in the processing queue waiting for review during the year.

You will receive an email(email address that you put in your application) about your AOR.
You have to include that AOR email with your BOWP application.
