PNP PR - APRIL,MAY JUNE 2016 APPLICANTS....

I will complete 16 months in 2 days. Not sure where to go and hit my head. BG still NA. I'm a single applicant with no criminal record. No travel history except to my home country and Canada. Why are they treating us unfairly like this??!!

June 13 still waiting for MR. CIC website said processing time is 16 month. I m almost 15 month but didn't get MR. I am sure my file won't be finish in 16 month now

I have a feeling that due to the influx of the Haitian refugees through the Quebec border from the US, they have paused PNP processing. Clearly no DM, PPR, MR since last one and half months.

Still Hundreds of 2015 applicants, in particular, inland applicants are waiting as well as early 2016 applicants. Without any clear reason, the backlog is getting more significant.

I just logged in to my CIC account and my background check has finally been started.

My Application was received on 21 April 2016 (AOR 18 May 2016)
I received Medical Request on 1 May 2017
I passed the Medical on 17 May 2017

I know they are slow, and I know that it is stressful (I have been waiting three years now), but at least we know things are slowly moving forward.

I am from a visa exempt country, does anybody have any information as to the rest of the process for me from this point?

I have the same timeline and I just checked that my BG check is in process too.

I heard that some ppl have been waiting 2 months for BG check... hopefully they will speed up in September...

Congrats! I have the same timeline with you, I passed ME on 18 May, but my BG is still N/A
