PNP PR - APRIL,MAY JUNE 2016 APPLICANTS....

If I receive nomination for me. I have submitted my wife's passport which was made before marriage. I got married recently July 15.

So if I apply for PR do I have to apply with her same passport? Or I can change the passport making my wife's new passport so that it indicates husband name or marital status etc?

Or it is not worth the hassle to make a new passport and justify 2 different passports presented to Oinp and CIC?

Also note that she holds IELTS with the old passport she has now.

Please advise. Thank you.

My application date is April 7 too but my B/G is in progress from July 20.

no update , no BG check start yet

Good day!
I applied for PR under paperbased province nomini program on November2016, and got AoI feb2017. Waiting for medical , is anyone have any idea how long it will take for medical exam? Also one of my frined suggest i can go with my medical anytime because its valid for a year and my file remaining processing time is less than a year.

I hope the same as well. From what i know a bunch of the federal government employees take time off from work during summer. As long as they are coming back within 3 months, the file they are allocated with remains with them in their office collecting dust. That is probably why it is taking them 18-19 months process our files now.
