Don't want to get your hope up because waiting is so painful.

I think manu.chan has a very straightforward and simple application that requires no additional documents, that's why his/her application was processed so fast and that puts her in almost the same timeline as Jan/Feb/March batch. Any of us who was asked to update their documents back in Oct 2016 just got MR recently, I wouldn't expect PPR to come so soon..

My ECAS shows "received" and nothing else. MyCIC shows "passed".

As per my GCMS note, I see that applications are grouped by the dates they received. Example, applications received from May1-15 formed a group with a group name. Earlier communications for sending additional documents, or medical requests took place as a group. This might be a new initiative by CIC to make processing times more consistent and predictable across applicants.

The process has been pretty consistent so far for all the batches (for example, my application was received Apr 14, back then most of us Apr batch got MR on the same day, May 1 & 2). There are also exceptions, which I think is manu.chan's case (I can be wrong though) who got his/her MR in Dec. I'm also checking Jan/Feb/Mar thread very closely.

Waiting can be so cruel I'm just playing it safe not to assume anything to happen soon. But if it really is the time for April batch, I would be more than thrilled!!

I agree with you, most Apr's applicant got MR on the same day, May 1 & 2, manu.chan's got this MR in Dec, which is fast than other Apr's applicant. and I couldn't think what's the reason for his fast processing time if he is inland regular paper based applicant.

Im april 4,2016 applicant ecas shows in process. inland with bc pnp pr application.paper based hopefully soon
So if I see someone has NOC code does it mean s/he is a EE applicant? Shouldn't all EE applicants be internet-based?

I needed to have a NOC code when applying for provincial nominee program so it's not only EE

I have called cic call centre and computer said we r checking whether u meet the eligibility requirements!! Is this mean background check is in process or that is different process? What they check in eligibility requirements check? How long can take roughly.... file received may 2016 medical done in first week of may 2017...automated reply said medical is successful that means it's passed!!

The automated message reads from MYCIC status. You you have access to that, it is not helpful at all.

Yeah ... but it say we r processing eligibility requirements... which is not showing in ecas ...
