Hey Guys,
May 18, 2016 Applicant here.

I just received an email from IRCC. They say this is a reminder email. In the reminder email, they say the following.

- Submit Police Clearance Certificates from each country and territory where you lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.
- Missing Schedule A Information if anything has changed.
- Pay your RPRF fees of $490 if you've not already paid.

My question is:
1. I haven't submitted my Canadian PCC. Should I submit one now or will CIC ask that later?
2. Should I pay RPRF fees now or should I wait for later?

Have any of you guys received this "reminder" email?

Thanks

1.You don't have to produce a Canadian Police Clearance if CIC hasnt specifically asked you for it. If CIC needs the canadian Police Clearance from you, they will ask you to produce it. However, for other countries that you have lived in for more than six moths, you have to produce them.

2. It's advisable you pay the RPRF now.

All the best!

Hi PKG92,

If you have already submitted the PCC from India and they are less than one year old, then you don't have to submit new ones. However, you should consider paying the RPRF fees now.

All the best!

Hi,
What do you mean by getting your RPRF? Did you get an email specifically saying to pay the RPRF fees or are you referring to the generic "reminder" email that I CIC sent. Please clarify.

Thank You. I have my Canadian PCC, I just haven't provided that to CIC. Not sure if I should be proactive and send it to them in advance or should I wait for them to ask me. I can pay the RPRF fees now, no problem.

There is no harm in submitting your Canadian PCC then. CIC sometimes does not request Canadian PCC from inland applicants. They have a way of doing their own criminal background check on inland applicants. All the best!

Yes we got an email. Its a generic reminder.

I got email from cic too. it says "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information."

I login my CIC account, bg check changed to: "not need at this time", previously it was " in process". Other than that, nothing new.

Any changes on ECAS after you guys got reminder mail? My immigration reps didnt tell anything about reminder mail yet, Im really afraid...
