Guys I follow the instruction above and found an application linked to mycic account! The application number shown is XEPXXXXXXXX. Does that mean I will receive my AOR shortly as the official AOR number should be EPXXXXXXXX? By the way, my application was received by CIO on May 24, 2016. Thank you.

Same situation here.
I called cic about this, the agent says XEPxxxxxxxx just means there is an application. It doesn't even mean that the application is complete.
My application might still be returned, and I can't use this file number to apply for BOWP.
So sad...
