Hi guys,

I want to share my timelines and ask some questions here

AINP applied in July 2015 (SRS engineering occupation: mechanical designer)
AINP received in 25 Jan 2016
CIO received file on 5 Feb 2016
AOR received 13 April 2016
Still waiting for further inquires

Meanwhile, my work permit is expiring in Oct 2016 and need some help
Do I attach job offer letter (contract) or job letter? Some people are saying job letter but in Imm5710E form they ask for job contract.
2nd column imm5710E there are 4 options
a) work permit with same employer
b) work permit with new employer
c) restoration
d) temporary residency
I already have open work permit and my AINP letter is open too ( no restriction )

if u have a aor u can apply for bridging work permit your dont need employer portal or anything u just have to pay 155 n 100 for workpermit n open work permit fees respectively

Hello All,

I Got ITA in the last draw.

Now I am filling my ITA Application.

I went to Thailand and Cambodia last year. It was only five days trip.

Now should I include the Thailand and Cambodia hotel addresses in the address history of my application?

As the address history format is like day / month / year format, this doubt came whether I should include those five days stay addresses in address history.

I have shipped by DHL The last update: "Delivery arranged no details expected" in ONTARIO
I asked my third party numerous times about this status, Unfortunately, They did not update anymore. In fact, it really made me worry about my document. would you please help me get a delivery confirmation with the name of the person who received it from partner's DHL?

File Received 17th May 2016
AOR -------- Waiting!

How much time does it take to get AOR. Also if we getc AOR it means our file is accepted won't be returned back am I right ?

you relax, they will surelly deliver it, now be checking you mails for AOR in the next 2-3 months

I have also faced this situation. Contact DHL on their telefone Nos
And email address again and again and tell uour problem
They will arramge in a week.

DHL has third party courier company arrangment in Nova Scotia named Loomis international, ask DHL to give u Loomis tracking number and then track it on loomis site.

My pr application was received on May 20th. I'm in Ontario. It's been 2 months.
Is it possible for my package to be returned at this point?
I heard if your package was not complete they would return it sooner.

Hi all!

Here's one way to check the status of your CIC application.

1. Go to this link:

2. Click (Continue GCKey) blue tab ---- this is the one i used.

3. Sign Up

4. Select (Link the existing account)

5. Enter all required info

6. For English Test detail, use the following if you don't have the info handy:

Test: None
Test ID: 000
Test Date: CIC application received date

(for few it works but not for all)

Guys I follow the instruction above and found an application linked to mycic account! The application number shown is XEPXXXXXXXX. Does that mean I will receive my AOR shortly as the official AOR number should be EPXXXXXXXX? By the way, my application was received by CIO on May 24, 2016. Thank you.

Yes, my packet also delivered by Loomis. But I said to DHL, ,"I don't know Loomis, you have to arrange." then DHL sent me the receipt with signed and stamped by CIC official. Actually, DHL is the world No. 1 Courier company.
