Guess what, my MP's assistant even got back to me that there're ppl who have been waiting for a longer time than us, so we shouldn't be frustrated, it's normal to wait for this long....I found that answer unacceptable and neglecting, funny enough, the MP is conservative, I thought she'd criticize the Liberal. lol, but no, they don't care.

Called CIC and they advised that my file is on a queue pending security since October 31th. How come that security did not even start at almost 18 months? This is ridiculous!!

Finally got through after 7 times in row calling them.
I was told to call them back after 16th of November if no news.
The automatic answers on my case are exactly the same ones i got in August, when I called on my 16 months.
