I called cic to ask the exact same thing, she said it would be more better and she strongly suggested to come back to canada and submit the passport. Just cuz you are an inland applicant, they do not want any confusions.. It might result in rejection cuz your address will be am Indian address and not Canadian. So she suggested me that one should come back inside Canada before submitting the passport. Hope this helps.

Guys I noticed they’ve issued PPR usually every 1st week & 2nd week of the month mostly!!!

Maybe this is our time, beginning of November.

thanks!.just the voice prompt..coz the otherday talked to the agent and its not yet updated..and since some are updating that theirs are updated to bg in process i check mine as well last night and its updated too..

May 26th applicant. Got an updated status today at MyCIC. When checked, I saw BG changed from NA to In progress. However, when I spoke with an agent a few weeks ago, she said that my BG was in progress. Will see.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think you can not mail passport internationally if that's what you are thinking.
