I think mine was showing "Background check in process" for a while as well in cic, then it changed to Not Applicable, but according to previous applicants, now it's security check which is the other part of the whole background check ..

Same happened with me and I think with majority of applicants. Security is entirely different.

Yes I'm single applicant. Did you check with the doctor to see if he/she submitted your children's results?

no its seems worst then that i guess . they way they are working damn so slow on us .

I would say very unlikely. I called cic the other day and the agent told me not to have high expectation that PPR will arrive before September, which would mark 16 month by then (medical May 1)

There are indeed lucky applicants out there. My case is not so complicated, single applicant, been in Canada since I was 15. Keeping my hope up ..

I hear ya buddy, I've been in Canada for a very long time now as well. Sometimes, I just feel they should just give it to us given we work, pay tax and are living for a very long time here. But again, that's just me.
