Just want to confirm,as you said you send your medical forms to "CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca" what do you mean by this?

As per my knowledge the doctor/hospital who conducts the medical will update the CIC/LVO on their own?

I did upfront medical, so that I need let CIC know my UMI number, I need to send CIC medical receipt.
I you received medical request, you don't need to do anything, just go for medical exam with medical request that CIC sent to you.

How did you do upfront medical? How much it helps? I liked the idea of sending the results through case specific inquiry. They are usually fast in getting back to people on that.
