If your AINP certificate has no employment restrictions, then you can apply for Open Work permit, otherwise it will be closed. You will need to attach you AINP certificate with BOWP application.
If there is no employment restrictions, and you get Open work permit, you will need to let AINP know about this. and usually it doesnt affect your PR file. my friend and I recently changed employers and AINP was very good about it.
They said as long as we are working full-time, we are fine. When IRCC calls them, they can confirm where we are working. That is all. I have this written in email from one of the AINP officers. Its just not a word of mouth.

thanks for the reply...I am wondering that AINP certificate gonna be expire after 6 months of its issue date..so i dont think that Ainp gonna have any objection..Do we still need to inform AINP even its certificate has been expired and PR file is under process?

There is on employment restrictions on my certificate...so I can apply for an open work permit once I get AOR?
I wanna change my current employer.I am still confuse about if i have to work under same NOC under which i got nomination by AINP or I can work anywhere I want.

Hello Camyhome,
I am sorry to see that you haven't received MR yet.
I can feel how hard that is.
I would suggest you getting a gcms notes and see where your application has got on hold.
I would also try to contact the local visa office to see if they can get any clue.
Try contacting Cic or raise a concern through cse.

Keep your faith and stay strong.
I am sure everything will come easy on your way soon.

Hi I am nominee program and applied for PR on Feb 2015, and still waiting for background check. My work permit expired soon and I changed my jobs 2 times during this time. I didnt know we should inform the AINP and CIC. I am wondering if I want to explain for them now , is this make issue? I am afraid if the AINP would like to terminate the nomination. I applied under strategic recruitment engineering. I have no restriction on my employer.

Thanks,
Pedram

HI guys,

Today I just received my GCMS notes.

If anybody has any question....

Primary office Centralized intake office
Secondary office CPC-Ottawa.

Group name PACE

Paper file :
Office Centralized intake office
...
Location : PACE

Application assignment:
....
....
Due Date : 2016/12/01

So the due date of the application is December 1st......

Everything is passed. Criminality, medical, Eligibility all passed.

If there is no restriction on employment then you can change the employer. if you have already done so twice, I would advise you to update AINP with your latest employer information.

I was under International Student category and AINP officer herself told me that they wont cancel my nomination until I stop working. If I am working, there will be no effect on my nomination. They just need information to update CIC when they call AINP.

Applied July 6th 2015.
Meds April 29th 2016
Waiting since then....

Before there was nothing at APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT where you can see Assigned To , Assigned By, and the due date. Now it looks like the application is assigned to a specific Officer and he has a due date

Guys,
If I have a passport request, how long will it take for CIC to send the passport back?
I'm Aug 2015 applicant and would like to go back home for Christmas holiday.
