"Sorry for the delay, we have been very busy. Everything is in order for your file, the medical looks good. The file is now just awaiting a final review. You should hear back soon. If there is no update in 2-3 months please try to contact IRCC/CIC directly to request the status(1-888-242-2100), and then if you cannot get through or you are not satisfied with the information, you can let me know and I will check again."

Reply from local MP office on my file investigation. Total hopeless >:( :( :-[ :-X

Everybody is waiting for final review, and should hear back soon.

What's soon??

I think all of our files are at Ottawa, where they send the PPR email. I just wonder when they will do it. I think we wont hear anything in September and it might start early October....

[my background check changed from "in-progress" to "not need at this time"

What does mean??

I really hope this "SOON" should be before October, but less chances as CIC working at Snail's speed :(

Enjoy your new freedom.

RECEIVED PPR THIS MORNING 8 AM EST.... FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
SENT PASSPORT ALREADY...

I knew day before that I will receive ppr today because my MP office informed me on thursday that my application is approved. I went to MP office again on thursday morning and talked to her if she can push my file forward. She told me that she cannot push file forward but can definitely make call and ask cic agent why he/she is taking so long just to send me ppr. She told me this will heat up the situation little bit and It did.... Just within 10 mins after she made a call to cic, they approved my application and gave a call to my MP. She immediately emailed me.... HUGE THANKS to her.... She worked really hard for my application.... :) :) :) :) :)

Hope you guys get ppr soon...... Thank you everyone in this forum for all your support....

ALL THE VERY BEST TO EVERYONE WAITING FOR PPR!!!!!

Also I saw in news that there is a hold on refugees for a while because many refugees are not able to submit all documents due to war situation... Hopefully ppr rain will come soon...

I dont understand why some of you believe CIC is some kind of God that needs to be respected no matter what they do and when they do it. All those things about that getting PR is a gift and not a right or whatever.

Nobody here complains about CIC having a lot of work. Anybody with two eyes and ten fingers could understand that if you are super busy you might need more time. But after all, people want to be informed. To have information. To have clear answers. and We are paying for this!! Never forget that. It's not free.

When you get something free you cannot say a word , but when you pay for something, even if you get refused or approved, what you expect at least is some kind of good treatment. For example. If I call CIC I know I cannot ask them to do my application faster than yours, but at least I expect to get some information, like ''your security is in process, it might take a couple months''. Why is that too much asking??? Why is too much asking to get good and polite answers??

Why when people go over 15th months, and they send an inquiry to IRCC they just get an stupid answer '''we confirm your application is in progress'' ?? REallly??Really?? that' sthe best thing they can do??

Think about this a few minutes please.

TOTALLY AGREE 87arq.....
it is not a gift. we have earned our PR through hard work, sacrifices, dedication and determination....
They need to inform all applicants about correct status of application... They can't just keep extending timelimits..... well said....
