People who have GCMS notes will know what I am talking about. The due date for sure is not the date they are going to send us PPR. Something else caught my attention in my GCMS notes and it's the Group number. If you check your notes, you will see that a group number was allotted to you when you got your AOR. For instance my group number then was 1-6JO431H7. And I got my AOR in the first week of June. So one stands for the first group and 6 stands for the 6th month that is June. The rest of it is the code identity for the visa office.
Now in my most recent GCMS notes my group number is 1- 9JC26710. And if I am not wrong I could expect PPR in the first one 1-2 weeks of September (9 stands for 9th month) and like AOR the PPRs will come in groups. Moreover my Group name is also September batch. I could be totally wrong and we'll see in the days to come, but for now this gives me hope and I feel good :)

where do you see the group number?

Your present group number should be on the first page.
And then it is between your fee section and file History. This is where your AOR group number and your PPR group number would be given.

I ordered my notes like early April and got it in June 8th. So they are a bit old. I can see something called Activity # where it shows 2-JC-----

and also I just noticed a Due date in my security as 2016/09/10, which is this upcoming Sept 10th. That due date is written in several areas in my notes, not only in Security.

Can you guys explain what GCMS means?

I have ordered 3 GCMS notes so far and no one had a group number given. The group # and name are blank

Unfortunately, nothing noted in my GCMS for Group name and Group#.

Crossed fingers for all applicants.

Hi Mishti,

I've checked my notes and nothing indicated on both details.

However, this past few days I kept on researching on how to interpret GCMS notes and here's the links.
- http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/gcms-notes-well-explained-has-never-before-until-now-t390292.0.html (Eagle333 did a detailed explanation)

By the way, assigned to is not a person instead it is the Visa Office so RC-6262 is CIO.

Guys there s possible canada post strike again >:( :( :-\ :-X

Yeah, in my previous notes too there was no group name or number. The most recent notes have both.

See everything about GCMS notes is mostly interpretation which at times could be right and many a times wrong. Depends on how good investigation officers we are.. lol. I believe CIC has given no official interpretation. They like to see us as lost cows.

Oh no! Just saw that, the strike notice has been issued and I read somewhere that the strike will rotate through the provinces
