Hi Guys,

I am August 6th applicant and my ecas updated to the following:

We sent you correspondence on April 22, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

does any one has the same update?

I have 4 of them, because I got 4 additional doc requests. But they have appeared on my ECAS 2-3 days after request. I would call CIC to check what additional doc they want from you.

They requested MR and Schedule A form in the month of April but ecas was updated now.

I had the same situation, cic requested new doc in march and in May the message in ECAS showed up. I called 4 times and was told they send me new email, but I hadn't received it, they even requested re-sending . Finally on 5th call and the lady confirmed that the message was about the correspondence form March.

I am still waiting , its 3 weeks for my BG check today. Only country I have visited is Canada and I am in Canada lol

August applicants should take a deep breath and forget about checking status or visiting this forum for another good couple of months lol
On a serious note ,June and July applicants have patience until end of next week and you'll start seeing things moving faster. Why? because summer will be over, kids back to school and employees back to WORK ;)

where are you from Raman? I have visited maybe a dozens countries in Europe. Italy (several times), France, Norway, Romania, Morroco, USA, Ireland, UK.

Now, thinking about it....in my schedule A I have never said anything about Germany, but everytime I have gone to Spain from Canada, I have done transit for a few hours in Franfurkt. I hope that's ok not having mentioned it. (havent even left the airport while waiting for next flight...)

Hello Everybody,

I am June 29, Inland applicant with spouse, Waiting on passport call. (Waiting is killing now :-\)

A quick question to all, hope some body can help or suggest me a correct path.

My spouse just came to accompany me here in Canada..Do I need to update anything in my file? (Change on address or whatever needs to be done ) If yes then what are the thing I should take care of it? & Does it needs to be done in certain days or what?

Waiting patiently on your reply. Thank you and appreciate your time in advance.

I have been doing some research about background check and I have found this.

http://www.sirc-csars.gc.ca/pdfs/ar_2008-2009-eng.pdf

in the last page it says the average time it took CSIS to clear an applicant for permanent residency. between 30 days for overseas to 90 days to applicant within Canada.

Thank you for sharing with us! So that gives us an idea of how long it'd proceed – 3 months.
