called CIC again with the hope that they would tell me status of my application. But got DISAPPOINTED again!!! nothing till 15 months are over. Can anybody magically find out what's going on with CIC? ??? ??? ??? :( :( :(
A friend was told by a consultant that the new government is bringing some changes in the processing of applications in September...could this be a reason? I mean waiting for implementing some changes.

Thats correct Mishti. Might be in last stage as i too had PS before PPR (at least 2 months before). I copied some codes earlier from other forum threads for our reference:
SEC Crim: security criminality
SEdec:Selection Decision
PSDEC: paper selection Decision
BDEC: Background Decision
OReq: other requirements
MEDEC: medical Decision
FinDEC: final Decision
ImmCAT: immigration category
SW1: skilled worker 1
NCR: no criminal record
M01-M07: levels of medical assesments
PS: prescreen or paper screen(Same thing)
PA: storage area of the file
Authority: LM seems like an officer's initials
PPS: point of file at paper screening stage
PI: principal immigrant
XREF: cross-referenced applicant
FOSS: central database name in sydney
NOC: national occupation class
I dont know what PACE means. As Mishti asked, i too have the same question. Mainly you should worry about your assessments results. Do all the assessments (eligibility, criminality and medical) are passed? If so then dont worry about the rest.
Where does PACE mentioned? is it a location changed from PACE to PS?
Thanks Harirajmohan. I remember you got your PPR after file location PS. In my previous notes the file location was PS. But in the most recent notes it has changed to PACE. So it is after PS. Also I see that an officer has been assigned and the due date is written as Aug. 18.

June 8(Inland Applicant). Received 2nd GCMS notes today. Eligibility, Medical and Criminality shows passed. But the due date is changed from August 20, 2016 to October 1,2016.Primary Office location is CPC-OTTAWA and under location is says PACE. The file was last updated on June 8,2016. On the last page of the GCMS under Notes, its shows Meds are valid all requirement meets RFV*2. What is RFV ??

What does your myCIC background check say? And was there any update in your eclient status? I mean a line or two were added? My file location is PACE too.

MyCIC background and Eligibility check says In process. There is no new update or line added in my eclient.

So my medical got expired on 15th June 2016. My ECAS shows medical recieved since feb 2016. (I assume it means they passed medicals) will cic ask me again to get my medicals done? Should I do it upfront again and send them? I am single inland applicant

Hmm..hopefully it's in the final review stage. I was told that my application would be finalized by Aug. end. The due date in the notes is Aug. 18. But then the Group name is PACE Sep.

A friend of mine had his application delayed by a couple of months. His medical expired in Dec. and he got his PR in April without a second request.

Thanks mishti for your reply. Also I applied for GCMS notes through GCMSnotes.ca and haven't recieved notes after 32 days. I called cic and they sent me different website to apply from . Which is ATIP something. Did I applied through wrong website? I also paid 40$ for gcms notes whereas ATIP website showed only 5$. I am confused. I already waited 32 days and it seems like waste of my time.

Yes, my last file location was PS before i got ppr. Also earlier i have not heard of PACE, i think this is something new as no one reported till now about this new location. So thinking they are changing the process/workflow.

Yes I guess you applied from a wrong website. Must be through some middle party. Now you're on the right track.

I searched a lot for PACE file location. Couldn't find a clue.

Anyone has an idea about the Group Type. In my GCMS notes under Group title, the Type is given as PR Temporary Processing.
