June 18th applicant landed.
3 planes from Europe. When I took the 3rd plane, the flaps broke in the air. The captain said it will be a hard landing and firemen are waiting us at the airport... :o ;D It was hard, but not too bad.
Anyways.... I had absolutely zero questions from the officer. He only asked the address where to send the card 8)

Good luck for the rest of you guys!

At least you are there and safe, well done buddy!

I went to my Local Visa Office yesterday to see them in person. They allow this only on the first Tuesday of each month. They only open at 08:00 am but I was told to be there earlier on another forum as there are a lot of people enquiring on their files. I arrived there 06:15 am, was third in line and by 08:00am ther were +- 40 people in line.

I went in 08:00 am. They checked on the online system first and then pulled my original file to show me they received my original PCC's. The consultant said I will receive MR within a week or two. I then asked how long after medicals for PPR, she said between a couple of weeks or a month.

I am so excited that my file is finally moving into the right direction!

Hi, just want to share what I read in PNP PR Sept-October 2015 thread..
Quote author is mf4361

The link is a report of how did CIC did in processing PNP applications

Basically in the period of April 2015-March 2016,
42% of applications processed in 11 months
80% of applications processed in 17 months or less

Since the service promise of CIC was 80% case processed in 15 months, they've failed to meet their standard

And 80% is just a stat, individual case can differ a lot and for a lot of reasons (not all are at fault of CIC) like delay in providing documents or payment, wife got pregnant and can't take X-ray, etc that yours didn't make it in 15 months.

Their target going on is to process in 11 months and they will met it for 80% of cases. They are not achieving it now because there's still old inventories. That doesn't automatically mean you will get PR in 11 months, it depends on the cases itself.
-----

In addition, when you check PNP PR Jan-Feb-Mar 2015 applicants thread. Some of them are still waiting for PPR and I think they were the old cases inventory (17 months) that being finalized by CIC.

God bless.

Does that mean that our files June 2015 falls under new files category? If yes then we will get ppr in 2017 and it's not fair.. >:( >:(

Hi cali, I am not able to link my application too and cic agent told me that it's normal. Some applications will not be linked due to technical error or would not allow to link at all. I guess we are in those unlucky files.... :( :(

Something happened today ? Any changes. Any news ?

You can go to a police office and ask where you can get RCMP police check. I did mine in Rocky Mountain Plaza in Calgary thru a company. They took my fingerprints and picture. Then your RCMP police check will be sent directly to CIC.
