Hi guys just let u know recently i found out they will not issue ppr for inlanders untill canada post resume work.
i went to mpi in Winnipeg and they told me unless canada post didnt come for a agreement all the government bodies has hold the issuing new licenses documents etc and it will apply for cic as well and they are ongoing discussion for alternative methods or to canada post resume work permanently.

Let see what will happen beginning of August.
I got my driver license renewed and received it 3 days before :-[

I hope he is wrong.

Basically, I have 2 couple of friends who have gotten their PR cards very recently. One of the couple got it 1 month ago, the other got it 2 weeks ago.

Also, a week ago or two weeks ago a July 3rd applicant got his PPR email. So......hope that's not exactly accurate.

For those who don't know: You can land at Ottawa's IRCC office (200 Catherine street, suite 101) on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 10 am to 2 pm without making any previous appointment. Also, you don't necessarily need to live in Ottawa to land there. I live in Toronto and I successfully landed there on July 12.

Can you share you experience for landing in a CIC office? is it different from a border?

April 10 applicant still waiting! It got very frustrating when most April applicants got PPR. Travelling to home country helped. After 15 months, I went to the MP, that was about a week ago because in my GCMS notes everything showed passed. The MP was helpful, and they sent an enquiry. Got a very positive reply saying it is in the final review. Today my CIC background status changed to in progress from not needed at this time. Feeling positive!

Good to know that you case is moving forward!!

hello, can anyone tell me how long does it take for CIC to confirm that they have received the extra documents requested?
I'm asking this because I sent them requested docs on July 5th and I never received any confirmation. When I login to check the status there's no updates regarding the docs sent, but the medical exam that I did less than 2 weeks ago is already showing as received.

According to my experience, they usually starts to read your submitted mail or email. i.e. I have submitted FBI certificate, GCMS indicated that information have been updated 2 weeks later counting from my shipping.
