this morning I have received an email from CIC and was very happy but then I saw that they are asking me to update my wife's passport copy because it has less then 6 month validity. although I had send the new passport copy the 9th of may but they did not updated it. Today I send it again via case specific inquiry. Any of you have any idea from today how many more day they will take to update it and send me PPR

Cannot say any timeframe but at least you know that your application is at last stage and once they update it, they will issue ppr for sure because they are ready to stamp.... Last time CIC contacted me was on 17 march, 2016 to resubmit schedule A form and never heard anything after that and I am 25th june applicant. I should have received ppr by now if they are working on your application.... I am worried now... :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

You will get PPR by this week by mercy of God
 
June 18 still waiting for PPR, background check still not needed at this time! I really don't know what's going on, why take so long time!

Hi everyone. Did CIC request to anyone for additional documents like recent pay stub, paycheck, notes of assessment, t4? I am a new pnp-pr applicant, I want to be prepare. Thank you everyone.

:'( My husband's passport reach its less 6 months of life next August 14 and still we hear nothing from CIC, that means we have to update it and consequently our waiting is going to spread... So sad...

Yes landed last weekend and returned. :)

If criminality shows pending then they are still reviewing. Ask him/her if she/he sent all PCCs. you can check the comments if they are still reviewing or going to check further.

I dont know why few are waiting till we hit 6 months mark on passports and expect cic to act fast according to passport expiry. I think that most of the countries allow us to renew the passport within 12 months. So we all should renew the passport on 12th month and update cic.
For any travel, we need 6 months validity of passport which includes any visa issuance. This delay is not from cic which is purely controlled by us.

HI FRIEND congrazts .i have a doubt can u please answer .once u get ppr request what is ur ecas says in ur online .i do not have my cic account so i can not see anything on there.my only option is ecas. am a june 25 applicant.can u please answer .,or anyone knows about that .please give me a answer .

Yes my friend I am in same boat as you are in

Cic received doc on 18th June 2015.


Mine is with my spouse.

In ecas it showas as medical results have been recieved.

No further updates

I am also waiting desparately.

Hope our wait ends pretty soon
