Congrats on ur successful landing!
May i ask you what the questions all about?
We are so curious!
General questions where do you live and he told me to write down the address and my phon number. How long I am living there. What I do for work and how's my company. If I ever got refused for entry in Canada. Any spouse or common law partner. Why didn't I booked appointment at Cic office and came to border. I suggest everyone that atleast try calling Cic office to know about next available date

The questions are simple to answer. These are the questions:
1. What is your current status in Canada?
The answer led to the next question
2. Where do you work?
3. How long I have worked and any plans of changing job soon.
Finally, she asked me to write my address. Different questions for different folks.

Congratulations Pete, hope to follow your path soon!

Just landed!

11 years ago, as a 16 year old, I remember researching all I needed to do to become a Permanent Resident. I can't believe that day is here and now I am a permanent resident. God has been so good! What a journey. 7 years in Canada and now I can finally celebrate this new chapter.

Wish good luck to all of those who are still waiting! Your turn is coming soon! Be patient and strong, the journey is not always easy but the reward is certainly worth it!

Cheers!

Guys, I have a question, I see some people have been asked about where they are working while completing their landing. It's making me a bit concerned, as I am not working now. I am on a closed work permit and I got laid off from my previous employer due to no fault of my own. Is this going to be a problem during landing since I am not working? I am planning to tell them I was waiting for my PR to start working since currently I am on a closed work permit. I also requested one of my acquaintance who has a startup company to write me a job offer letter so that I can tell them that I got offered a job and will start working once I get PR.

if you tell them about the truth may be they will make it difficult and will tell you why u didnot informed it to CIC before? thats what i think . please discus with others who has more knowledge about it. please do not say anything that can ruined your final match. think twice before you say anything.
