Kinda off-topic but can anyone help me with this:

I am Inland and my wife currently is Outland - Completing her MBA in India and will be completed in October.

My question: Lets say if we get PPR by end of this month and my wife plans to visit me next month. Can she go back to India and come back after her degree in November?

We can apply for PR card when she is here with me

1.She can come back in november provided she gets her pr card. If not she has to apply for prtd (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/index.asp) - processing time vary based on visa office i guess.
2. If she has visitor visa for US then she can travel by land with COPR.

Hi
My background shows in progress and eligibility shows review in progress since 1st week of may. i didn't received any medical request not even landing fee email. in march i just received RCMP fingerprints request. I am confused as some got their background updated recently but mine was in may still didn't received any email. Is it normal?

Yes it is normal.

Background check initially goes to "in process" then "not needed at this time" and at the end of process..it goes back to "in process".

I think initial "in process" is to do with RCMP screening and later it's security or further required checks..

hi all

Any one got Passport back or if tracking is activated today ?

Regards

Thanks Adii and as far as documents are concerned, is this what I have to include?

1. Original Passport
2. 2 Photos of 50 mm x 70 mm
3. Printout of PPR Email
4. Return envelope from Xpresspost from Canada Post with my home address on it.

and finally all the above documents should be enclosed in one big envelope?

Just want to be ready so that I don't have doubts while I am sending it and can dispatch it immediately.
