Hi,

I got my AOR yesterday,I applied on May 2nd. I have a question... this is my case: My husband applied for study permit as principal applicant so I could apply for WP. Then I got a job and applied for AINP, then I applied for permanent resident as principal applicant. This is the question: My husband can change his study permit to WorkPermit?

Congrts, very quick...!!!

Today I was talking to a friend about my PPR and I told I should receive it anytime now, so I am feeling excited, tensed and a little nervous but waiting patiently. He told me I sound like as if I am pregnant as I am expecting it soon. I guess I can agree :D :D

I would say, you need to order gcms to find out more rather than waiting and not knowing anything.
Average 2-3 weeks for visa non-exempt passport. Around 1 week for visa exempt passport.
It seems that visa issuance and printing takes more time in terms of process and verification hence its 2-3 weeks for visa non-exempt passports whereas for visa exempt passport its just takes 1 week. Thats the reward for owning visa exempt passport. ;)
I will be waiting for 3 weeks.

My friend who has a visa non-exempt passport got it within 12 days.

Congrats, glad that it's on its way. I remember how concerned you were when there was a delay in our medicals but now you are almost towards the end :)

Congratulations to everyone that received PPR, one of these days there will be no correspondence on the PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants as all of you will have received PPR and PR Visas :P

Good day guys! With God's grace, i received ppr yesterday. Im march 12 applicant. Almost 15mos of waiting, and finally, the good news came! To God be all the glory! :) Goodluck to all who're still waiting, never lose hope!

Hello guys, I am planning to exit to border to get my PR in coming week but I have only 16 days left in my work permit and my work permit extension has not arrived or approved yet, so my question is Can I go to border and exit with my remaining days on my work permit or do I need to have a certain days like 3 months or something on my work permit to do the exit? Any suggestion would be appreciate. Thanks

Congrats!! And thanks for giving me new hopes because I am May 4th 2015 inland applicant and still waiting for my PPR. Just wondering do you have any idea why they took 15 months for your case to process. Did you applied for GCMS notes at any time during the process?
Most applicants on this forum got their ppr within 12 mos, wonder why some exceptions like You and Me. Anyhow, congrats again. Enjoy the good times.

I actually did as i got really very anxious. Initially my application was sent to London VO but they dnt have jurisdiction over me, it should have been either Manila or Abu Dhabi. My papers stayed with them for few months until they transferred it to ADVO. Also in my notes, RPRF is still outstanding though i paid it the same day when i got the correspondence to pay for the fee, that's Mar06 (i requested gcms Apr28). So what i did was, i sent a copy of the e-receipt through courier to advo and got the ppr 3days after. So, that goes my story. Just pray, it works :)
