No, ecas status change is not linked to issuing visa after ppr. Possibly little high volume at ottawa for stamping hence few days delay.

How long will it take to get the passport back from CPC Ottawa?

Normally visa stamping done only on wednesday by cic, may be you receive ur passport friday or on monday

Hi Mishti,
My husband got his passport back last week. Strangely, I haven't had mine return tracker activated even after 2 weeks.

This delay/lag could be due to your dependent being in another country. Or some totally unknown reason. But don't worry you will receive it.

After you have landed, make sure to tell your husband to go through the "Crossing the border" part in this link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/after-checklist.asp

I sent mine to Ottawa along with 2 photos and print out of ready for visa email.
My husband sent his to New Delhi.

Based on what, your husband sent to Delhi office?
Did your Ready for VISA email tell you to do so or you need to request something from them, I am confused here actually...

How can I upload the e-medical receipt that I done my part to CIC for the medical request in 30 days, if you know would you plz let me know what email Id of CIC should I send it and whats the process for that ?
Should that email is acknowledged by CIC official's? or I just wait the fourth line to be added on ECAS ?

Actually you don't need to do anything after e-medical.
But you can update the e-medical receipt via CSE (Case Specific Enquiry). I did via CSE, CIC responded back after around 15 days with automated email and after 7-8 days of their response, my ECAS got updated.

What is "any pages containing amendments of the passport" in the PPR email for the applicant from visa exempt country?
Does that means any page with visa stamp?
I would like to prepare my documents too ;D, thanks.

Hi Mishti, did you receive any news recently? I have my GCMS already. The eligibility, criminality and medical have passed. However, I still waiting for PPR. I am April 14th, 2015 applicant.
