Hey guys I tried linking the application twice but failed. Could anyone tell me which number on the IELTS test result do you have to fill in. Is it the Candidate number which is a short one or the test form number?

I don't remember writing any such ID on any form. Mine was a paper based application.

And if anyone can answer this one? If CIC exceeds 15 months, is Writ of Mandamus a solution? It's like going to the court. I've heard people taking this route and then their applications being decided in a matter of days.

i am unable to link my application to myCIC. unable to get past the language test details. I've tried filling everything, still they can't find the application.

Strange!! ???
Same problem here. It also says it might take 24 hours to connect your application

ya i dont know what happened to our vo. they stopped sending wave of PPRs anymore. Not good. They slowed it down. It was jet speed for the first 8-10 weeks and then little slow and then slow and now its at dead speed.
Dont know when the engine will speed up again - its like when will the rainbow come again. :( :o ??? ::) :-X :-\

Good weekend guys. One more painful week gets added to our timelines.

Exactly buddy, it's a pain seeing everyone else got PPR who applied late in the time. Seems like I need to renew my work permit before PPR comes. It will expire on June 17 but if I didn't get my PPR in next week I need to spend again for my wp. They are really slow for our May applicants compared to March and April applicants. God bless us pleaseeeeeeeee.

You will get your PPR and even your COPR before your permit expires. Are you single or a family applicant? I'll suggest wait till June 16th before renewing your WP.

There is a possibility that most of the applicants are not in the forum who got their PPR. We can't assume PPR showers are not happening just based on the active members in this forum. I have a couple of friends who never really comes to the forum that often or updates anything

I have some freinds they never come here but they got ppr even one of them in from June inland Montreal resident. One of my freind may 8 got his ppr in February 27-29

Fantazyprince, I hear ya. Did you request GCMS notes to see the status of all your assessments? If so, did they all say passed? That being the case,I'd recommend what PCM89 recommended as well: just wait at least a week before it expires to apply if you want to be safe. Why risk spending more when you could get your PPR soon? If it relieves you, start gathering the necessary documentation and be ready to apply, but don't do so just yet.

My sister renewed her WP just to get PPR two weeks after that. It's really frustrating. I understand. The waiting game is no fun.

We have very similar timelines. I'm confident May will not go by without us getting PPR. Best of luck bud!

Hello all, Any June 2015 paper application inlands got PPR?

I hear ya harirajmohan. That's exactly how I feel. Each day I check my ECAS and it still says it's in progress my heart feels so heavy. Can't wait for the day we get that wonderful email.

I linked my application to MyCIC and after at least 3 attempts trying different ways here is what I got:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Obviously not even close in consistency to what GCMS notes reflect as they show everything as passed since Feb 26 for all assessments. I am so tempted to request a new set of GCMS notes but I know it will delay my case even more. So I won't.

Have a good weekend y'all and let's hope for a PPR hurricane next week like PMC89 said ;)
I think that they are just displaying a static status for all as i dont see any difference in all the statuses posted in the lat 2 days. Mine too has ditto status updates. Looks like they are still working on linking them live - dont know why its different from EE.
Its not useful. I thought that they would reduce dependency on gcms but not there yet.

I think that this would the same status even for the guys who received ppr.

For me the only difference is that it says background check in progress. Rest is the same.
