Thanks htokyo.
Make sure you land before Winter. Best wishes.

I totally understand what you mean. My journey has been even longer though. I moved to UK in 2007 and then moved to Canada in 2013, so for me it has been 9 long years. The day I finally become permanent resident, it'll be the happiest moment in my life so far.

Thank you so much for that guidance !! can you guide me bit more about upfront medical . I do not understand that well .in case you can give me an idea how doers it works ???
I need to have appointment first or consulate someone .

Click on this link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

" Undergo your exam before you submit your application:
This is called an up front medical exam.

You can contact a panel physician directly to get your medical exam.

Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application.

If the doctor works with the eMedical electronic system:

they will give you an up-front medical notification printout.
If the doctor works with a paper system:

they will give you a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form.
You must attach that form to your application before you submit it to the visa office. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application."

Make sure the doctor works with eMedical as it will be transmitted electronically.

Best wishes.

I hear ya. I moved here back in 2010 and still waiting. It's been 6 long years since I came as a student, and then finally found a sponsor. I'm gonna cry histerically when I get PR. Still patiently waiting for PPR and DM.

How long should criminality check take after you submit your pcc? Earlier I had heard that CiC accepted only original PCC. But now they tell you to upload on CSI. Any views?

Yes desperately waiting for it. Already they are not sending on other days hence at least this Friday should be with lot of ppr emails. :)
Also its overdue on seeing any heavy ppr rain in the last 6-8 weeks. So hopefully we see one this week friday.

Actually speaking there is not much time - its my view. they just check in some systems collaborated with neighboring countries and with other countries' central system. Rest are just based on our pcc submitted and the movement activity in the countries we lived. I really doubt that they really send request to multiple countries to check something except the ones they already have access to check something online.

How mine was completed: Last year in a day they checked with some system and got back response on same day with status NRT (no reportable trace) but no status update made to criminality section. Then suddenly they decided to check on my whole application on 19Feb16 and updated the status of criminality (+ elig) to Passed without any additional activity notes on this day. There was notes on 19th Feb only for elig but not for criminality.

In short, its all the matter of someone getting your pcc you sent and verify in a single day. This one day only we dont know when that will happen.
