Inlanders,
Any exclusive document request (such as exclusive schedule A update/rcmp/pcc apart from reminder email) from Sydney, NS?
Trying to see if they have finished verifying our documents and initiated/completed the verification process on eligibility and criminality.
Last month I saw some requests on this from Apr ones and few from May ones. Any more requests during the last 2 weeks?

Please share so that we all know what they are doing.
I know that many read the forum but dont post and they post it during DM/PPR :).

Hi, my timeline is very similar to yours:
AOR - July 23th
Medical: request - December 23th, done - December 28th, attached to file ~January 10th
Reminder letter - 30th, the same day paid RFPR fee, attached to file approx. 10 days later
January 28th - asked to renew SCHEDULE A, sent by CSE, they attached it to file February 8th

It's all what I got from cic by now.

May 22 inland applicant here.

I did the medicals Dec 28 after a Dec 23 request. Reminder email Dec 30 and paid RPRF same day. Then I mailed the biodata page from the medical + the receipt to the Sydney, NS VO. Jan 11 my status still In Process but medicals received. Then I re-read the reminder email and it says "for faster service send those documents via email to the CSE email". So I did Jan 25. Feb 8 I got an email from CIC email stating "please note we have received all your supporting documents to your application. If further information is needed you will be contacted by the respectove VO".

That's last time I've heard from them. From reading forums and the CIC website, I take updates in Schedule A file as minor delays in your application, which they warn of as cause of leaving gaps in history." @hariramojhan, is this the security check part they do after the medical? And when do they check criminality? How long would you roughly estimate for PPR based on this info?

Up to Feb 11, 24702 immigration applications of Syrian refugees have been finalized by the Government of Canada within about 4-month time. Happy for those refugees!

Just wish applications of other immigration categories can be processed at similar speed. Can CIC do that?

@hyotokyo that's about right. It says on the CIC website that they aim to close 80% within 11 months. That's their service standard.

Wow that's fast. Are you from visa exempt country, have you sent your passport or just copies?

Oh sorry, I've just seen, you sent only copies, I guess that's why it took just 6 days.. Great, maybe mine comes soon then. My copies reached there on Feb 10th..
