Hi All - wondering if anyone on here is AINP employer driven route? We have already submitted the PR app to CIC back in May and like everyone else god only knows when they will look at it. SO we are on Bridging visas now and hubbies one is tied to the company that 'supported' the AINP app - has anyone at this stage been sucessful in changing employers (same role) and gotten an updated working permit?

This is not good news for us...but I can assure you that those approved for refugee status from Syria needs this more than some of us. Lets be happy for them, being negative about our long wait whilst CIC is busy helping people that are fleeing for a war zone is not helping anyone.

What is a day in a mans life...Our turn will come my friend ;)

Well said buddy :) As humans we need to care about other humans regardless of race, religion or colour. Winners are always optimistic, regardless of current situation. Losers play the blame game and cry out loud.

Thanks for letting me know the situation. So I don't need to check email every five minutes anymore. Let me totally forget the MR and enjoy the life !

i agree with my friend..but there are people who got stuck in their future and facing real trouble in life just because of this wait period..many of them are being exploited by the employers and have no other option..they are wasting their years for no reason just to meet cic requirements..of course they should be helping refugees..and that is the govt policy...but putting others life into uncertainity is not the solution..they should employ more people as casuals or find any other alternative system for refugee management...

48 days since "medical done"
43 days since "medical received"

Keep praying and hoping! :)

Good luck to all!

Goodluck to everyone! :)

Hi everyone, I have got the PT interest letter from Ontario (based on my EE profile).

I have 2 questions:
1. From the time I make the application to Ontario, how much time is it usually taking to get to a point where I get an ITA (assuming all docs are in order)?
2. My employer will not give me a detailed letter of reference (just a stock / general letter). Can I get a reference letter from a senior colleague? Again this question is for applying to Ontario

Thanks in advance

Very true, but we will not be able to change the system or tell them how to operate. The refugee crises has impacted our application timelines and that is the end of the story. The only choice we have in the matter is how we react to it, our attitudes.

Be positive and hopeful, keep the good faith my friend ;)

I think we are not going to get ppr in 2015. we have to wait until the refugee things settle down

That would be very frustrated to me. My son is in senior year of high school. We wish the process would be completed ASAP so that we can go forward with his enrollment to university in Canada

federal pr processing was moving smoothly upto September/Oct , and from November it stopped right there. My PR application received in June, AOR in August, medical, PCC, RPRF, in September Medical received etc. it was a good move until that point. Then suddenly stopped including my ECas. the changed government moved to refugee settlement. it is a bad time for us.
