Does anyone know which comes first: file transfer or medical request? I am asking because i think our local visa office is faster than the ones in Canada...

For me specifically (outland), file transfer notice+medical request+RPRF came at the same time in the same email

Hi Guys
I have a question, so in order to receive AOR from CIC, its because you have submitted all the required documents right? Is that including Police Certificate?

Just wondering.......

pcc is not mandatory with the initial application package..it can be submitted at a later stage..

Because I sent my police certificate separately from my PNP application....so if they don't request it, it means that they already got it right?

I have medical done for work permit in July 15 .. they haven't requested for my pr yet .. can I just submit the old one or wait for their request..

You have to wait till they request. As my wife done her medicals in india in June 2015 for her work permit after she came to canada they request in November 25th for PR for both of us got a seperate email for medicals from CIC

if u sent the original pcc, usually they attach it to your application..but it has nothing to do with the AOR...

Hey Sunny.bc, thank you for sharing your timeline and congratulations that you had done the medical examination already.

My timeline: CIC got my application at the end of April. And they started to process my application on 16 of July. But we got the reminder email the same day ( 9th Nov).

I am still waiting for the MR. Hopefully it would come soon!!!

one of the cic agents told that more than half of their officers are busy with processing syrian refugees...their first batch is coming this january...rest of them mostly deal with express entry..so we r neglected...another long waittt...

After issue with high blood pressure my medical is finally done :)
So, info for guys who not received MR yet ... you can do upfront medical if you have UCI number. I was give a call to panel physician and he told me so.
Good luck to everyone.

This is not good news for us...but I can assure you that those approved for refugee status from Syria needs this more than some of us. Lets be happy for them, being negative about our long wait whilst CIC is busy helping people that are fleeing for a war zone is not helping anyone.

What is a day in a mans life...Our turn will come my friend ;)
