PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants!

Hello,
I was wondering if someone cam across the similar situation.
I filed my application for PR (Provincial Nominee Program). Now I want to renew my Passport and my passport number and expiry will be changed. Do I need to inform CIC about this change or my application for PR will be processed on the previous passport?

I'm June 30 applicant. no PPR yet( AOR on Sep 24th 2015, Medicals in Feb 2016)

I have provided them all. I ordered GCMS notes and they have mentioned that PCC awaited, I had sent them in May 2016 not sure why they haven't updated anything about receiving them. May be that's causing the delay...

Yes you have to update CIC immediately

I got my PPR today. However I have to go back home country for vocation from Dec 25 to Jan 19. CIC need us to send passports to them within 30 days. I don't think I can meet the deadline. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I think you can submit your passport in your Home country as well. then you should wait until you receive PP back. which I think takes about 2 to 3 weeks or so... Otherwise you can write to IRCC and explain your situation, they will extend the date...

I would suggest you send them the passport and postpone your vacation ... I know it cost you but don't take any chance thanks....or call CIC agent for correct info and ask them to email you...thanks

for me it took 2 days. Decision was made on Saturday Dec 10, and I got ppr on Monday Dec 12.

Hey when did u get "DM" on ur ECAS ?
I got "Decision Made" on 10th Dec.
But no PPR yet

I just got the PPR email this morning, mycic account still says Background check "In Progress" and Final decission "Not Started" however the cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp website says "Decision Made"
I guess my application status changed last night.

here is my timeline:

2015 Apr 22 - Application received by the federal government
2015 Jul 14 - Application processing started
2015 Nov 12 - Right of Permanent Residency Fee (RPRF) paid
2015 Dec 11 - Request for the medical exam
2016 May 18 - Medical exam
2016 Jun 17 - Background check started
2016 Dec 20 - Received Passport Request Email (PPR)

I got "Decision Made" on 10th Dec.
But no PPR yet

My status changed to DM on 10th Dec as well.
I called them and they are like we cant tell when its gonna be done

Hi Eveyone!

Just a quick survey for those who got thier passport back, how long is tha validity of the visa that cic given ?
Just wanted to know how long because i have to do the exit here in canada border have to wait for PR card and get my son after having my pR CARD .
