I know how it works. I mean, I know you have to send photos and copy of passport as I am also from visa exempt country.

The question is....whe you get back COPR (without passport as we wont be sending original passport), can we leave country and wait 30 days to come back? Is there a time limit to do the landing?

Landing is when you go to the border and flagpole. Because you are inland applicant you do flagpole to do your ''landing'' which is how CIC calls the process of becoming Permanent Resident.

So the question is, Once you get your CORP, how much time do you have to do the process of becoming PR? Because if I do it right away, then I will have to wait for PR cards.....or get Travel document once I get to my country and it takes too much time considering I will be spending only 3 weeks.

You have 8 months to do the landing.
My CoPR and Visa was issued Sept. 23, 2016 and valid until May 4, 2017.

I am under BCPNP as well.

As I have to go for vacation in January, should i wait to do my landing ?

because if i go to the border and do landing, i am not sure I will get my PR card till i fly for vacation.

Anyone with suggestions.

You can finish landing process while u return to Canada. Your visa will valid till April 28 or 30

Some say its not required but there is no exemption mentioned in cic except for CEC.
It specifies that it depends on the program we got selected hence my suggestion is to take the proof of bank statement (or at least payslip to prove the current job) as some of the officers did ask some of candidates on proof of funds.
Of course some were not asked any question. So now its your take.

Did you try tracking from "canada post" app? or to check if its working try tracking # that you obtained when you sent the package...

in my myCIC account, nothing changed, still it shows background check in progress (One reason, my wife's passport at singapore office currently).

it takes around 3-4 working days for return tracker ..my status changes to approved on friday and return tracker activated on wednesday

May i ask you if your ECAS has been changed to closed application?
I have same timeline and they have received my mail on sep 30th.
My Ecas shows 'decision made' now.

Yes My ECAS status has been changed to closed yesterday.
And my online status is decision made now.
My passport also they received on 30th but no return tracking update yet.

Question: For landing, do we need to show Financial Proof ? I am just wondering if i should do landing when i get my passport or should i wait till February and re-enter Canada from Airport.

Also does anyone know how long are they taking to issue PR card ? if its too long then i have to land with my wife.

I don't think so we need to show any financial status but better to carry the proof along with you.
PR card takes 2.5 months from the date of landing to your mail box.

ECAS changed to closed? Mine shows Decision Made.
