Have you seen in MyCic had changed? Exactly, when you log in to check you application status, used to be every Tuesday, NOW it's Dayly.. Maybe, it means Sth? What do you think?

yup, it means the database is about to change everyday or new system was employed to do this job. hopefully they are working hard on that.

My ECAS changed to DM the same day as I got my PPR email.

AOR comes normally after 3 to 4 months. Totally understand why you're anxious, I've been there myself. I don't think your consultant would lie about such important thing. There's no benefit in that. You'll definitely get your letter very soon.

Just curious u know the average time for pr ?. I know it's saying 15 months on website for paper file... But i heard from my friends that now days people getting their medical request in like 8 or 9 months... !!

My friend you need to check email which you did provide for communication if it's your personal email it will come
Or else if it's your consultant email id then he will receive it

yes my friend I gave my email in papers but don't know if my consultant changed it... But i am checking my email daily also smap folder too... Let's hope for the best ... Thanks a lot for reply

For many of us during May/June it turned DM after 2 days of ppr. So not certain as usual.

So yesterday my background check changed to in progress. This morning I almost had a heart attack. I check my phone and I see an email from donotreply@cic.gc.ca

and it says that my application has been updated. I think is because yesterday it changed to in progress, my background, dont you think??? Or it could be because something is coming soon¿??

That's because your status changed, which was detected by their system and therefore a notification was automatically put into a queue to send in 2nd day. usually you won't experience the delay if not because you check your ecas so frequently.
