This waiting game is so torturous. I got my GCMS notes March 15 and they are not that encouraging:

Security: not started
Medicals: passed
Eligibility: not started
Criminality: in progress

Don't know how much longer I can wait
This is like any normal applicant's progress - i mean they start with criminality in progress for most. So i think that its yet to be completed. For few it has completed from their gcms as we have seen but what to do, they are lucky ones. ;)
Good that yours is started unlike mine which is not even started (on any of it). So just give it a few weeks which will get completed by the time we get ppr next month. :D

Couple days can make difference man one of my friend 8 May from Montreal done with everything he got his ppr on 28-29 February his medical was even late than us in mr January 16 ... Mine mr on 11 Jan..
Definitely it makes difference.
Example, some got ppr from Mid Apr and rest did not.
Another example, i got MR who sent application on last day of May month and the guys who sent on June 1st received after 2-3 months and June is yet to be covered for MR. Their logic is just not understood by anyone (may be not even by them :D).

So just luck plays to receive ppr soon. ??? ::)

I am not sure but I have a feeling that they exempted the medical from June 2015 onwards to those who are already living here on permit and their cases are in process because they know we all hold valid health cards .... so cut down that step and expedite the process thats why I have seen people are being asked to pay Right of Residence Fee directly before medical may be I am wrong but there is a possibility .....lets see

That's would be very nice, but I don't believe it ,in my additional information request for RPFF is a reminder: " MEDICALS: You and your dependents are required to be medically examined, if you did not do so already, please visit the office of a Panel Physician to undertake your medical examination as soon as possible. "
So I already booked an appointment for MR.
Iam July 3 applicant.

Current PR process is 4 steps. Eligibility, Criminality, Medical and Security. I don't think CIC will give an exemption for any of these steps.I think upfront medical is the good option for the June applicants those who are still waiting for the Medical request.

I will suggest to wait for your Medical request, as I did my medical upfront on Nov 15, 2015 and CIC has send me two reminders to send my medical to them. Lack of coordination between the doctor and practitioner is causing a delay in my PR. I am an April 10 applicant and most of the people who have applied during that time have got their PR by now.

Thanks

Hi
I am April 08, 2015 applicant. I received an email in Jan to submit the most recent PCC for my dependent from India which we did in the first week of March. Today again I received another email asking to submit a PCC for me from India. But I had submitted a PCC from India with my application up to the period I resided in India. I have been in Canada for 5 years now and visited India twice for very short period. Even if I now apply for a PCC they will only issue it to the period I was in India 5 years ago. It won't be any different in content to the one I already submitted. I am wondering if I should upload the same one via Case specific enquiry or go for a new one. I am also planning to get a new one from RCMP and submit it. Any suggestions from seniors here?

You should submit a new one as you had travelled in between.
