June applicant here, still waiting and waiting for medical request! This doesn't make sense as April and May applicants got within December & January

This is unacceptable, please call PNP office or MP. I believe they can exert certain pressure on CIC. I have a feeling, what happen to Old CEC will happen to PNP!! As, it follows the same pattern, all the sudden there is no more ME after a particular month. After that all files were put on hold. Nowadays, it all about Refugee and EE. Low priority for paper-based application.

Even if they give MR today. They can not hold overall 11 months of processing standard. So its a delay already, only question is how long the delay will be? For Old CEC it has been 17 moths now

Hahaha, I just laughed so hard after your reply. Calling won't help at all. Do you think they will process faster just because you called them and ordered to get it done soon? They already said, getting a permanent residence in Canada is your privilege not your right. So we are at their mercy. All we can do is just hope and pray.

Then why you even log this thread and complain? You can just wait and pray. Lol....

In some cases MPs do help and PNP office have influence as well. That's why you dont see many pnp's application get refused under federal stage.

Anyhow, believe what you want to believe and do what you think is right, in your case sh* t up ! Wait! and Pray!

Calling MP to expedite your own file won't work. But raising the general issue to the government might make a difference.

While immigration is a privilege to immigrants, it's not only the matter of immigrants, it's also Canadian's. Immigrants have proven to be important part of economy and an integral part of Canadian culture. And an unfair or unreasonably slow process certainly harms Canadians, who certain are stakeholders.

As a matter of fact, an unreasonably slow process for family class is certainly on IRCC's work list and accelerating PNP process was mentioned in the 2015 CIC annual report. Its not like IRCC doesn't know the issue.\

That said, current PNP process time is 15 months. So you can't complain until it reaches that mark.
 
5 months since medical when will it be our turn

CIC received my application recently, Feb 5, 2016 to be exact. I am still in the early CIC stage ;D

Hi, Can we know what mail you received? Are you EE applicant as you are referring to myCIC account?

Wow heroforest, my friend, you didn't have to be that rude. We are all here to help and support each other and I think you could have responded in a more polite tone. The reason I said that is I've never heard of a case, where if you make a call they process your application faster. It totally depends on their own discretion. I have only applied about 8.5 months ago, so if I call them now, all they are going to say is my case is still within the regular processing time since technically it hasn't exceeded the processing time they mentioned on their website.

I totally agree with PMC89 ... u cant put any kind of pressure on the people in the call center ... they r super rude and the only answer they will give u is call us when u pass the processing time ... they cant do anything to speed the process

Oh now that you mentioned I think that email was regarding my work permit which I applied for earlier. Gosh, I got so confused
