Hi all,
Congrats to all of u guys...
April 27 applicant, got PPR today morning... 8)

I was wondering what is left? how long we need to wait to get PR cards now?

1-3 weeks to gewt your passport back; 3-12 weeks to get pr card.

I am in Canada and I've sent my passport to the wrong address (The Laurier Ave one that is for people sending passports from the USA) instead of the PO Box 9780.

I have sent an email to the Ottawa office CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Any thoughts? Is it going to get lost or will just take longer?

- The self-addressed, pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.

They are just going to use the return envelope after stamping. Both places for stamping only. Its fine. Dont worry. You cannot be the first one to do like this in this immigration process . So have good night. You would receive your passports with copr.

I hope you're right. Let's see if they reply tomorrow. Will keep updated.
I just can't believe what a silly mistake that is. After so much paperwork and so many applications, forms, etc. that I've been through I make this mistake.
It is going to be very ironic if I messed up my PR application and will get refused because of that. LOL

In my case, I forgot to send a copy of ready for visa email. I emailed them and got reply after two days saying that they will finalize my application regardless. Then I got passport back without problem! And I just noticed that the FROM address on returned passport envelope is the address on 365 Laurier Avenue. How interesting! So I hope there won't be problem to you and you will get passport back without any delay!

What documents could one bring to support implied status?

In my case, I forgot to send a copy of ready for visa email. I emailed them and got reply after two days saying that they will finalize my application regardless. Ottawa replied saying that both addresses are fine. Good.

CIC does not provide confirmation that you have implied status in Canada. However, you should keep proof that you submitted the application before your work permit expired. This includes copies of the application, the fee receipt, and something that confirms the date it was sent and delivered.
