My bf summit his application April 15 and got his AOR in the middle of July. He has not received a reminder email or his MR. He is an inland MPN, I am getting worried since end of April applicants have got MR.
Also my bf's employer specific WP will expire in February. He was able to get that WP just before the employer compliance fee started. He doesn't think his employer will be able to pay the fee because its not in their policies to pay work permit fees for his position. So he will need to try to apply for a BOWP soon. My understanding is that in order to qualify for a BOWP your eligibility must be set at passed in GCMC.
Can anyone who has received these notes tell me how long after submitting their application did their GCMS say "passed"?
If anyone has recently applied for and/or received a BOWP please share any knowledge you have gained in your experience. Also has anyone received GCMS notes? If so can they tell me how long after submitting their application did their GCMS say "passed"? Did it say passed shortly after getting the AOR?

It is almost impossible to get a hold of them. Every time i call them during the day they turn on auto reply "We currently experiencing a high volume of calls bla bla please hang up and try later"...shallu7287 said:

I was able to speak to an agent today morning. But he didnt want to check my file, he just said wait time is 15 months for inland. During that time cic will send you MR. When I explained that other aplicants got it even they applied after me, he didnt care...shallu7287 said:

wondering what we can do with the GCMS note? and at what point of our PR process that consider pass for the GCMS. I am thinking of applying the BOWP after new year if I still not heard anything but just read on some post and they change the rules from DEC 1 2015. Just the AOR not guarantee you will get the Open one....
