hi everyone...

CIC requested for a new FBI and it was sent 1st week of June.

Ecas shows in process on June 1st.

How long will it take for CIC to reach a decision? Our Medical will be one year by July :-(.

Thanks

Same here, Medical and rcmp going to be one year by the end of this month, CiC may be required new medical.. Getting panic everyday..CiC agent can't tell us the process until 16 months.

Hi, Do they at least give enough time to get new PCCs? the fbi one takes long time hence asking whats cic's consideration on new pcc.

Hello All,

So I completed my landing process today at the North Portal Border in no time and less effort, the border services personnel that attended to us was very friendly and didn't even ask me any question at all.

I would like to seize this golden opportunity to say thank you to all that started this journey with me, to those that finished the journey before me and with me, as well as those that are yet to finish theirs. It has really been a rewarding experience knowing you all from diverse background, and sharing your valuable advice and thoughts which I would say made this forum thick, vibrant, memorable and interesting. I specifically want to wish those that are yet to get IP, DM or PPR all the very best in this odyssey, hang on tight and sooner or later you all will end this journey with a bright smile ;D Weeping may last all through the night but your joy will surely come in the morning.

Once again thank you all and I hope our path will cross again.

Hey congratulation's Cheema!!! Finally you got it!!
Happy for you buddy..!
I applied few days before you on 16th May 2014, I hope to expect my PPR soon.

By the way did they request Medicals again for you?

Congrats to those who already received PPR. :)

I am May 1, 2014 applicant, got IN PROCESS last May 6, 2015... still no movement as of this time ??? ??? ???

I hope everyone's doing great.. I am an Ontario PNP nominee. Here's my time line:

Sent my PR application to Sydney: May 2014
AOR: March 2015
Medical Request: May 2015
eMedical Sent: May 2015
Request For Additional Information: July 2015

After a long wait of 10 months to get AOR, I've received my Medical Request in 2 months.
Three months after that, while all of my friends received their PR Card, I am requested to submit additional information:
1- Supplementary Information Request for Students: asking questions about my field of study, my intention to study, and my supervisors...
2- My CV

I am very surprise and confused. This request seems to be irrelevant and I've never heard anyone else get the same request. Please share your thoughts, is this normal??

Are you from Masters or international students category of OPNP?

Hi All, can anyone tell me what is the maximum time that can be taken by CIC to approve an application. I've applied in May 2014, waiting for PR till date.
At this point of time I don't even feel like checking the status.
Tired of checking status everyday multiple times, think that their could be good news...!

I have the same situation, OPNP applicant, application received on May 2014.
It is stated on the CIC website that it may take up to 17 months....
