Thanks for the kind words spartacus. those little stories which applications are rejected last minute make me paranoid.
No worries. You could always give them a call and ask about your DM. I'm sure they will say its approved and they are going to send you passport request soon. That's what they told me.

Also if you applied under PNP then you might know that CIC is concerned about medical and security issues as your province already certified your other qualifications.

I recieved an email to submit my police clearance today. I will be sending it by the end of the day so that CIC gets it first thing in the morning. Any idea how long does it take to get PPR after the docs are requested?

Hello Folks,

I am new to this thread. Is it for regular PNP Application?

I am an inland applicant and probably, going to receive my nomination from NS by the end fo the week. (Regular -NonExpress Entry Catagory Nomination)
Moreover, in August, I am also going to complete one year, and so will get 486 points in Express Entry.

I want to know from you how much duration it takes to process the regular paper application in Federal? Has Express Entry stream affected in a big way to this stream?

Thank you.

I dont know how exactly CIC conducts security check but for some jobs here they need security clearance and they check criminality, credit check etc.

Can anyone walk through about how long would it take to get PPR?

That's good to hear, you should be looking at 2-4 weeks for PPR...All the best!

Hi, I am from Alberta, I applied on May 16th. My application is not in process yet, I am guessing they may ask me for Police clearance certificate with finger print for me as it is more than one year old.
What is the current procedure to send police clearance request?

Hi Sarm,
CIC does not normally request for another police clearnce certificate after 1 year except for medical reassessment.
