Hello guys with MPNP,

Any ideas with what is happening with MPNP? Other provinces are getting IP and PPR and nothing yet is happening wt ours.

Am May 16th applicant and just med recv'd. this waiting is really killing!

im may 1st applicant who sent app package on APR 28th and still MER...
so i called up 1800 number fisrt thing in this morning
and talked to one of the rep. he placed me on hold for few minutes and came back one the phone and
said.." officer satisfied that there is no other concerns in this case and he said i passed everything and i have to wait for the officer who assign to my case , has to update my file... so i was so happy and asked him again that, is it really pass pass or i have to wait more on those four section check.. and he said i passed all crim, eilig, med, bkg.

but im still kinda worried that all of the mid- late May applicants seem to received their ppr tho im kinda beginning of may applicant
and my ecas still showing up as MER..no news from cic.. yet..
PS. i sent copy of my renewed passport during the process arnd nov and i am from visa exmpt country..
any any any advice will help plz comment me. thank you

Sorry, I was just wondering about your suggestion to send in my passport even though I haven't received PPR yet. I got DM yesterday though. So other than sending my passport what would I have to send and to where? Is there accompanying info I need to send?

I would never suggest that you send your passport to CIC without receiving the passport request.

You have had patience until now that your D has been M , I would suggest wait little more and don't do things out of CIC rules and guidelines.

dont do that. you need the ppr email to print out with passport, i guess you dont want to lose your passport....

Hi Hancan! I am May 20th, am the main applicant and my passport is still valid however my dependents' have expired and I emailed CIC copies just last week. I have not heard anything from CIC yet also :-(. I called them last week and they just said decision has not been made yet... I am hoping that everything is ok :-(... 'been a long wait with no updates.

you can expect to get your passport back in two weeks. i took Wednesday off and drove 3.5 hours to coutts for landing, the custom officers there are not that nice, but the whole process went smoothly, i brought over lots of documents there and the officer only checked my old work permit, receipt of work permit renewal from cic, cpr and passport, asked me a few questions, also he manually changed my last entry date as i told him it was wrong. after singed all the paperwork, officer told me that i'm pr now and good to go!

not at all! the first officer who took my passport away is ok, but not the second one,he blamed me why not book an appointment to do the landing in calgary instead of going to the border, he said he's not working for cic and asked me to tell my other frineds don't go to the border for landing just book an appointment blah blah blah (whole bunch of bull*censored word*),obviously that guy just don't want to do his job!!!what a lazy butt. maybe that's the rare case what i experienced but anyways, i'm done with this and it's time to celebrate a little bit with friends now!

Congrats on finalizing your process!
As to a blunt officer, I would keep in mind that he's paid by our taxes. And each tax payer is completely entitled to a decent service, as I understand. Just thinking out loudly.
