It seems like they are still processing applications, which is comforting news. Maybe not everyone at CIC is asleep until New Years. LOL

Gives others like me hope, I'm a November applicant.

I am not sure if they work after 24 till Jan 3rd. I think they will have a week of Christmas break.

Hi everyone,

i received AOR of PR application under PNP program. Now I need to change my employer. they send me the case specific inquiry form to change anything. My question is that which option i should select under "TYPE OF APPLICATION" drop down menu? there is nothing like employer change thing.

The exact wording of CIC email is

"If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. Please inform the Centralized Intake Office of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc) via the Case Specific Inquiry form at the following link."

Thanks

You are probably correct. I have never worked in government services myself, but at the end of the year I'd take all the benefit time I could for all my jobs in life, because they've all been 'use it or lose it' type schedules. So I always took ample time myself in years past, I can only imagine workers at CIC doing the same.

For BOWP you only need your eligibility to be set to "Passed" so double check that and apply for your BOWP with all supporting documents.

After 12 months of file submission, my Eligibiliity has not even been started and I am fighting with CPC over that. I dont know if they will accept it or not.

Hi,
As a PNP PR applicant that I am working the same employer, do I need the labor market impact assessment (LIMA) or any form from my employer?
thanks

Guys,
I am so stress full now. I am September 29 applicant.
I am IP from June 25! they asked for more documents on July 20 and ECAS changed to 6 line on October.

I have the work permit and visa valid till January 11, 2016 and I want to apply for BOWP.

As a PNP PR applicant that I am working with the same employer, do I need the labor market impact assessment (LIMA) or any other form from my employer?
Thanks

Also check if you are eligible for T13 code for closed work permit. If you are thn your employer would have to go online and pay employer compliance fees of $230 and submit offer of employment. This way you can get LMIA exempt Closed work permit. If you AINP has restrictions on it then you would not be eligible for BOWP. call me and i can explain you more. 780-937-2724

Did you call them?
if yes what was the answer?

I finally got my PPR, and yes I did call them after 6 weeks or so, and they just told me that it's still well within the processing time so I just have to wait. After more than 3 months, I finally got my PPR.

What about you, what's your status?

Hello Everyone! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I just wanted to ask, for those who got PPR already, how long does it usually take before they send your passport back from the date you send them in?

My timeline:
AOR OCT 30, 2014
IP/Med Req - APRIL 2015
DM - September 8 2015
PPR - December 21 2015
