Hello guys, how are your applications going?

I just received an email in response to my inquiry and it also said that a decision has been made, how long does it usually take before they message again for additional requirements or instructions?

I sent my application around October, they sent an acknowledgement of receipt on April 2015, along with a medical exam request.
Although I'm an October applicant, I usually follow this thread because you guys will most likely receive new information first.

It is normally about a day after up to 3 weeks after decision made.

A question, How did you send the inquiry and what was your inquiry? I wanna know how can I ask for some updates.
I am sep 22 applicant, AOR received in mid Feb, and Medical done and received in March, In process from June 16 and no news after that. Although they asked me for background form A and also submitting my CV and academic publication list to them. Is there any way we can ask for more detailed info?

I appreciate your help, and congratulations on being DM, hopefully you will land in two weeks.

Yes my boss says it you work more than 40 hours
It is full time
And he said my new contract is also full time

full time hours in Canada is 30 or more hours a week..anything less than 30 is part time

I'm september 8th 2014 applicant.
Medical request on 22nd nov 2014.
Landing fee request on 29th may 2015
DM on 23july2015
PPR on 10september 2015

I emailed ottawa center last night n got PPR today morning. And in my email it says we have sent u this email on august 5th,2015 also.
Means they ve sent me email then n i misplaced it i think. Do check spam/junk too.
So try emailing them .

I'm not sure from which message they replied to because my inquiry was a couple of months ago and I even thought they won't reply.
I sent them a question twice:
One from the cic website where you can send a case specific inquiry (this is what I often use when I get confused, the reply takes forever though. Sometimes they don't reply at all haha)

I got this email from their acknowledgement of receipt where they also said that I could reach them by email if there are changes of status etc.

Their responses take forever most of the time.

They have requested my passport on August 25th.
I have sent it same day, but it is almost 2 and half weeks now and my returning track number is not yet activated.

Have a flight for Europe middle of October.
A bit worried, because I was told it should not take longer than 2 weeks for them to send the document back.

How long did it take for you guys?

you need PR card for traveling. and it takes 3 months for that. you should find another way.

Hi my ecas changed to DM a week ago and til now I dont have PPR yet. Can somebody tell me how long exactly do I have to wait? I already paid my landing fee in july 24 as requested along with the medical. The last update I have on ecas says we sent u med req on july 24 pls submit what is required allow delay in mail b4 contacting us. Just lil worried

you need PR card for traveling. and it takes 3 months for that. you should find another way.

If she lands using PR visa (should not have used the visa earlier) while returning back then there is no issue.

I understood that i can apply in my country for one entry visa if PR card is not out. Also there is an option to get the card processed fast and the fee is $50 CAD..They need some sort of prove ( flight ticket or other reason).I am not sure, this is what i heard. Any idea if this will work?

they will issue a single entry visa on your passport when it comes back. u can use for your entry and confirmation of pr to Canada..otherwise, u can apply for a faster pr card if you provide enough proof of travel, like ticket..also if you have only less than three weeks, there is an option to get a travel document..it is always advisable to get at least any of these done before u leave the country..

My flight is on October 19th..if I get my passport next week, I should have enough time to apply for faster PR card.
Everything is in God's hands. I stay positive.
