PNP PR APPLICATION SEPTEMBER 2014 APPLICANTS

I believe all the PNP applicant r suffering from this long waiting period.
In FSW they r granting visa within 6 months

I am waiting for my medicals.
Its more than a month now from the day my file reached to local visa office NDVO

I am a NSNP pnp applicant.

frustration level is increasing every day. Friends and family keep on asking when will u get ur visa bro. :-X

I received nomination letter few days back and about to send application to CIO.

Does PNP nominee required to include IELTS with application package to CIO?

My IELTS meanwhile expired. However, as documents check list for PNP nominee, IELTS required for NOC C& D, mine is NOC B. Someone tell that valid IELTS should be attached with application package to CIO otherwise they may return back the application as incomplete.

Really confused what to do. Taking further IELTS will takes more time.

What is your suggestion? What is the experiences who already send application to CIO? Please help.

If your Job code is in NOC A or NOC B it is not required. You don't need to attach IELTS.

I have already applied for PR in December 2014 with nomination from Ontario ( Masters degree without job offer). I was thinking, is it possible for me to apply under Express Entry with the Nomination I have? The nomination is still valid until April 2015. Or do I have to meet any of the qualification of Skilled worker or Canadian Experience Class?

Please share your views.

Yes, You have to attach a copy of valid IETLS test .This was listed in CIC checklist for PNP applicants. My NOC is B also and I sent a copy of IETLS test . Kindly, Check the attached picture. www.dropbox.com/s/as36i1i9tsieh6x/01.PNG?dl=0

I applied to CIO Nova Scotia on Sept 3rd, 2014 got medical request on Nov 9th, 2014 and got meds done on Dec 5th, 2014 received by CIC on Dec 11th, 2014.

I think there you should attach your IELTS along with the application package you are planning to send to CIO, even though it expired as they will know you have given IELTS for PNP and you NOC is B which same as mine. I also sent me IELTS certificate with my application even though it expired. Its better to give those people all information rather than giving them a chance to send back you application for incomplete documents.

"Starting July 1, 2012, most Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applicants for semi- and low-skilled occupations that fall under National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Levels C and D will have to undergo mandatory language"

This is an additional note for NOC C&D they asked them to send IELTS test cuz before CIC didn't ask them to submit IELTS test but from July 1, 2012 they have to send also, but you have to follow the check list ,Mine is B also and I sent a copy of IELTS with my application to CIC.

Not sure about that. As I have friends, who are NOC B and they haven't submitted IELTS Score and have got their PR. So not sure if that is the case.

I think you don't have to submit the IELTS test result.
This is only for applicants for semi- and low-skilled occupations that fall under National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Levels C and D
If you are in doubt, you can simply write a short letter explaining that you are of (NOC) B hence you did not submit it.

So far i learn from provincial & federal website, it says provincial nominee other than Express entry nominee shall apply through old paper base method.

"At this time, applications for permanent residence other than Express Entry must be submitted on paper."

For express entry you required to eligible for existing three federal skilled scheme and have to create a express entry profile. However, different province published different guidelines. But nomination other than express entry nominee require to submit application as per earlier process.

Glad to share my timeline with all the members:

Ontario PNP Nomination: 25-Sep-2014
PR Application Sent to Sydney NS: 01-Nov-2014
PR Application Received By Sydney NS: 06-Nov-2014

Haven't heard from CIC since then - no AOR so far. I know there are a lot of people who applied before me are still waiting for their AORs and File Nos.

What is the average time to get AOR?
