All this while i was hopeful that despite the hold they were actually reviewing files n keeping them on standby. I think 17 months seems optimistic. Feel cheated n exploited.

On top of that, they're behind everyone in terms of integrating OPNP with Express entry. While Express entry is up and running, Ontario applicants are behind every other applicant in the country that got their provincial nomination, because Ontario is still figuring it out how to confirm their nominees. For shame Opportunities Ontario, shame!!!

While I agree with what you say completely - just a FYI that two January applicants got their DM (Decision Made) and are now waiting to their PPR (Passport Requests) to come in. They are on the thread "February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO".

So hopefully they are sticking to the 12 month story but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it. Still …. As always….. keep the faith and hang in there people.

i am a bc pnp applicant semi-skilled worker,my pr is on process, medical done both me and my wife on sep 2014 so i was just wondering if my wife will apply visit visa do you think she will be able to get visit visa from NEPAL.does anyone have applied visit visa for spouse?would be great if someone has and share the experience.thanks

I think main reason of delay is high error rate. Due to that they started QA and now Express entry is on high priority.

I see in the spreadsheet that people receive AOR and medicals on the same day. Is this generally the norm?
Anyone who has got AOR considering reapplying through express entry. Given 8 months waiting period for AOR, dont know how long its going to take to complete the remaining steps!!

I am applying for work permit extension.
The document checklist states that I should provide a photocopy of current immigration document (refer : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5556E.pdf)
Does that mean the current work permit or temporary resident visa?
