you might not reach them at 5pm since they operate from 8am to 4pm Ottawa time.

Calgary is 2 hours behind Ottawa. so 5pm will 7 pm in ottawa

i called cic yesterday because i have 15 months. They said that i have to wait until my DM because everything is in order.

they said I have to wait 15 months to pass before the can open a case for me. they are not helpful. the other mp assistance says wait till 17 months.....

To all the guys who are still waiting for DM/PPR and have recently got their gcms notes, do you see the sub-activity "Security Screening" under the security? This sub-activity is not there for everyone. My guess is that they randomly(or based on certain criteria) security screen some of the applicants from 3rd party. And since the checks start only after everything is in order, thats why there is a delay of few months for some applicants.
