Thanks,

You have a near identical ECAS report as I have, mine just has slightly earlier dates as I applied in November. I'm convinced we're just going to have to wait several more months before they clear out the rest of the 2014 applications. It is frustrating seeing everyone else pass us up, however! I know how you feel.

Hi Guys,
I just realized that in my last GCMS notes (generated oct 20),location of my file is "PS-".

Can any of you guys check in your GCMS file transfer history, if your file was ever transferred to PS? PS it seems refer to Paper Screen.. and may delay my application.. I am nominated under international masters student stream. I recently changed my job...I hope its not due to that

Hi everyone, I got a question here. I landed in Nov and since now the processing time is 85 days I won't get my PR card before Feb. I have to leave Canada end of Jan, will I be able to return without a card??? When I landed the board officer told me I can use my COPR letter but now I am not sure after I called CIC. She told me I need a PRTD, which I can not apply in Canada and I don't know how long the processing time for that one is...

I only know that you will not be able to return in Canada without PR card. I have friends who had a problem to return in Canada without PR card.

Hey there, I hear ya and on top of my head, I can suggest you this. Assuming that you would still be outside Canada by the time you receive your PR card in your mail (Canadian address), authorize one of your close friends to pick up your mail (PR Card) and ask him/her to courier it to your address (wherever you are going to be). That way you will receive your PR card and you can come back to the country without any issues or explanations.. If you don't have any other options, you can try this. Its a easier way if the timing is perfect..

Hope it works out for you!

Cheers
