Mine got activated last night (14 Oct) at 6:34pm. PP reached Ottawa on Oct 2, 2015.

So many PPR's and PP's will barged by the end of this week so get ready my friends who are desperately waiting for it!!!

Wish you guys all the best and have a good one.

Loads of peeps that sent passports Oct 1 -3 are just now getting their return tracker activated today. Those paspports have to be sent out (decongested) before another wave of PPRs can go out. Glad people are getting their trackers activated. It gives us waiting in line more hope

How come you haven't got DM? :o
I am a January 26th applicant but I got IP on 19th August.

Consider yourself lucky my friend. Most of the late December applicants are waiting for their DMs. I am Dec 29 applicant, got IP on Sep 12 and waiting for DM. Let's hope something positive comes soon :)

Cheers

Dec 31 applicant. Got ip on Sept 14. CIC never requested additional documents. Received GCMS notes. Application transfered(sept 12) to Ottawa with no reason mentioned. Medical, criminality passed. Officer clearly mentioned everything is on file and its complete and valid, applicant appears to meet eligibility decision. I wonder everything is there but they are not making decision. Why??
CIC I really love You.

Losing patience and hope! :(

I just call them and reply was as usual, You are still in time frame and its normal some time they take time to reply after DM. Anyways I am Dec 16 applicant and got DM status update on September 18.

Hi Charolia!!
I didn't call them today... not time.
Did they tell you where is your file? or if decision is Approved?
Good luck for tomorrow... ;) ;)

Is it possible to do upfront medicals?

No, they are so reluctant to answer anything specifically. Only response I get is wait till end of time period which is 13 months according to them. Hopefully any positive thing appear today Friday, Oct 16, 2015

Yes, you sure can.. I did it :)
If you prefer, You can also pay your RPRF in advance as well..
Hopefully, these two steps will ensure that your processing time is reduced a bit :)

Buddy, after doing MR, did you send the report to vo to add it to your profile as my doctor could not locate the UCI. They are suggesting to do it like upfront and send the report to vo or they can upload once we get IME number in MR email from vo. can you please tell how you handled it?

Hi Harirajmohan & Druce,

I did my Upfront medicals on Aug 13, 2014 in Winnipeg with Dr.Fogel. Usually the way it works with Upfront medicals is that when we do the medical tests at the clinic, the doctor creates a file for you which has all your necessary info. like your Full name, DOB, Passport Number, Date of Issue, Date of Expiry, Type of tests performed and so on. Your panel physician will also provide you with a TRACKING SHEET (which contains your UMI number), which you are supposed to SCAN and SEND (as an e-mail attachment) to CIC/CIO (Since I did an upfront before actually submitting my application to CIC, I have also included the tracking sheet in my application). So, you can also send a hard copy of the tracking sheet to CIC's courier address. That's all you need to do from your end and you're done. You can either wait for an update on ECAS regarding your medicals (received line) or alternatively call CIC Call centre (roughly after 2 weeks) and inquire if they have received your test results and if they were attached to your file.

What actually happens is that your panel physician will be sending your medical test results directly to CIC, who in turn tracks your records from your tracking sheet that you have sent before or after (your doc has sent the results). I hope it all makes sense. This is a fairly easy process and greatly reduces the processing time (by atleast a month) since you are not actually waiting to hear from CIC to get your medicals done!

I believe I have answered your queries.. If you still have any other questions, please let me know..
Good luck!

KB :)

P.S: Test results are usually valid for a FULL year. Also remember that its a good OMEN if you don't actually hear anything from the doc/panel physician, since they will only contact you if there is something wrong with your test results!!
