Oh, I just remembered someone asked where the Ready For Visa email came from... It was sent from cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca. I have no idea when my file made it over to Ottawa - all correspondence I've had before today has been from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca.

Congrats, can imagine your excitement. I am December 16,2014 applicant and got "DM" on September 18, 2015.

So today I had a minor panic when my Canada Post tracker included a line that said "Label Correction Applied". When I googled this it said that there's a $7 fee, so naturally I freaked out that CIC probably wouldn't pay the fee and return my package.

I called Canada Post though, and actually got to speak to someone helpful. She said that sometimes a label might be damaged or the wrong sticker removed, which is probably why the status says what it does. She assured me that no fee would be charged though. Phew!!! 8)

This damn process just keeps on coming up with surprises!!! ???

Hi everyone. I have submitted my PR application to CIO Nova Scotia today. I sent it with UPS Courier Services and it should reach CIO by no later then 27/09/2015. Any guesses of how my timeline will look from here? When I will receive AOR and get file transferred?
